Rehab Placement and The Road to Recovery – Give Your Family The Green Light to Move Forward

Intervention is a gateway to sobriety, but it is not treatment. Interventionists will help addicts cross the threshold into a new life, and then point them in the right direction once they’re through the door.

We have conducted extensive research and built relationships with some of the most reputable and effective rehabilitation centers in the US. We will work with families to determine the best treatment option based on an evaluation of your loved one’s needs and circumstances. Once your loved one agrees to accept help, we will ensure their safe transportation to rehab, under medical supervision if necessary. The right treatment center may be located down the street or out of state; we have the experience to help you make the right decision for your family.

How We Choose a Drug or Alcohol Treatment Center

Rehab facilities and treatment centers should always be licensed and accredited. It may sound ideal to go to a treatment center located on the ocean or in a tranquil forested setting, but luxury doesn’t always equal sobriety. If you can afford a more expensive treatment option, then by all means, choose a locale that supports healing. Just remember that the people and the program quality are what is most important.

Our primary concern is about fit. We look at a variety of factors before making a treatment center recommendation. There is no “cookie cutter” approach to treatment center or rehab placement; rather, it is our ability to custom-tailor a treatment experience to the needs of the client that gives us the best chance of success.

We will only recommend rehab centers that provide the highest quality of care, and treatment services that are clinically appropriate.

Variables that can influence which treatment center is most appropriate include:

  • The age of the addicted person
  • The addict’s drug of choice
  • Whether a medical detox program is required
  • The types of treatment that are needed
  • Geographic concerns (whether it is in the best interests of the client to be close to home, or far from home, to ensure a better experience)
  • Alignment with existing treatment center population
  • Aftercare needs
  • Cost of services and insurance acceptance
  • Any other factors that are important to the addicted person and their family

We will work closely with your family to complete a full evaluation of the individual in need, to make sure that a treatment center is selected that serves the needs of everyone concerned.

The Start of Your Journey

Since an addict may need a medical detox before therapy can begin, it may be necessary for them to be hospitalized before starting a residential treatment program. We leave nothing to chance, and will coordinate all aspects of this, including transportation, with a nurse or other medical professional if necessary. When it’s time to check in, we arrange personal transportation accompanied by a sober companion every step of the way.

What to Expect

Residential treatment centers are live-in facilities where addicts undergo intensive treatment in a structured environment. Their stay can last from 30 to 90 days, or longer. During this time, your loved one will detox and participate in various healing activities, which can include the following:

  • Group therapy
  • One-on-one counseling
  • Behavioral therapy
  • Family therapy
  • Education
  • Wellness therapies
  • Recreational activities

There may be other services depending on the facility and what is deemed best for the individual.

It can be frightening for addicts to leave the familiar and live in a place filled with strangers, but the focus at these clinics always remains on them. It’s all about helping them to get sober, in the most supportive environment possible. They’ll be with people who are facing the same challenges they are, and they’ll be in the compassionate care of experts who have helped hundreds of people just like themselves on the road to recovery. There is no better place for an addict to be than in rehab, or other residential treatment for their addiction.
